However, after reading the book, I felt really motivated to look up some of the people mentioned throughout the story in order to learn more about them.
Prior, I had no legitimate knowledge of the incident beyond the fact that Booth did it. I really did gain interest in this historical event, though. Booth is an interesting story and many people could tell it, this author just happened to. It was an engaging, interesting story, but I credit that more to Booth’s actions than to the author. However, many don’t know the challenges that the law enforcement faced in tracking down Booth and his accomplices.
